Saturday - November 21 between 4pm and 6:30pm at Tracy's Karate Studio, we will be having a class specializing in the disarms and retention of weapons
. This class is especially important for those who now carry a weapon under the Concealed Weapons Laws. It is said that more than 30 % of Law Enforcement Officers are killed each year by their own weapons. And this is with extensive training. So the average citizen can just as easily be over-powered and possibly be murdered by their own weapon. A class is presented to address these issues and must be taught taking many factors in mind such as the adrenaline dump that takes place and how the body responds to it. Each student must make more than enough repetitions to develop a combat mentality to maintain and defensively use their weapon. Wear workout clothing to participate. If you are interested please contact the studio at 889-7900 anytime between 2- 4 pm and 7 - 10 pm to reserve your position in the class. The class is taught by retired defensive tactics instructor Anthony F. Verburgt. Cost is $25.00 per person.
